Drawing as Meditation
Spacious Mind: cultivating peace, presence, and insight through drawing
The evidence of human mark making dates back to over 40,000 years ago – drawing is a primal human experience. In this full day workshop, we explore a number of different techniques that are designed to connect to our primal creative expression while stilling and focusing the mind. A sequence of embodied personal practices will take us from the mind in the cave to the mind in this moment. No drawing ability or experience is required – only a desire to tap into your own innate creative state.
