Meet Pattie Belle

Designer, Design Thinker, Facilitator, Artist, Educator, and Drawing Evangelist

Hello, lovely people. I’m Pattie Belle Hastings, but you can call me PB. I am a Design Thinking and Sprint expert for entrepreneurs, teams, and businesses that want to solve wicked problems in a fraction of the time while building next-level camaraderie and collaboration.

About Me

In my quest to spread creative magic far and wide, I founded “Mindful Marks” – my very own creative consulting firm. Here, I unleash the power of Design Thinking, Design Sprints, and a host of other ingenious methods through workshops, courses, coaching, and facilitation. Together, we unlock the full potential of your or your team’s creative problem-solving skills.

My passion for learning is an insatiable flame. I’ve dived into a diverse range of Studies, Workshops, Certifications, and Trainings. From mastering the art of Design Thinking and completing the esteemed Design Sprint Masterclass to earning my stripes with Designing Transformational Workshops, I’m always seeking fresh knowledge to elevate my craft. And that’s not all – I’ve delved into NVC (Non-Violent Communication) and the captivating world of NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) for over a decade. Additionally, my expertise extends to Visual Facilitation, Advanced Leadership Coaching, and even the joyous practices of Laughter Leadership and Laughter Yoga. There’s never a creative event without laughter.

My journey began with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) and a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Visual Art + Design. Those degrees are more than just fancy pieces of paper – they represent the foundation of my creative exploration and dedication to the craft. The cherry on top? Winning numerous national and international grants and awards for my art and design endeavors, a humbling recognition of my passion and hard work.

The adventure doesn’t stop there. Picture me as a Fulbright Scholar in Olso, Norway, immersing myself in the fascinating world of design research focused on mobile devices. It was an eye-opening experience that broadened my horizons and left a lasting impact on my work and teaching. I was also blessed with the rare opportunity of attending the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony.
